For the following month or months, I'd like to focus on two intellectuals. One is Jacques Derrida, and the other is Jorge Luis Borges.
As for Derrida, a brief discussion about Deconstruction might be a good choice to start with. Who was Derrida and what the hell did he do in philosophy? Considering such question, I'd stab the issue and from that point I'd aim to tackle the idea that how one is able to relate deconstruction or differance introduced by Derrida to literature criticism. Jürgen Habermas (and his followers) have attacked the idea of Post Modernism introduced by Derrida and others, so it would be more satisfactory to present some of their argues as well.
Now it's Borges's turn. I'd like to provide a brief discussion about his works, especially "The Library of Babel". Within the context of such criticism, The Derrida-lead point of view on Borges's work will be presented.
At the first glance, the plan is to write the articles in Persian and if time permits am going to translate all of the discussions into an English one.
